On Sunday, Jan. 20th, I rolled into Philadelphia as part of The Cop Block Tour.
After some brainstorming with others who’d showed-up, we proceeded to walk around town to do some outreach and Copblocking. It appeared though, as police employees must have gotten a memo of our intentions, as we encountered almost no one from that outfit. That’s not all bad.
I parked my Tahoe across from Underground Arts – the venue that plays host to Truth, Freedom, Prosperity Live, and other events – where the meetup was scheduled.
I always try to leave some literature with police employees (or their vehicle) in the hope that they’ll check out the site (particularly CopBlock.org/WelcomeLEOs)
We continued walking around town, eventually ending up on South Street, where I attempted a conversation with a Philadelphia police employee, who seemed more interested in his report than in reciprocating:
where we spied a Ticket Enforcement vehicle parked in a handicapped spot.
Before too long, a gentleman who’d just discovered a ransom note on his car walked by and expressed his discontent.
Before too long a ticket enforcement employee came our way, though after hearing our questions and seeing our cameras, she quickly turned, called the police, and hid inside a Dominos.
Before too long, a couple Philadelphia PD employees arrived. One conducted herself with just a bit more friendliness and logic than her colleague.
And with a relatively chill visit, I started my Tahoe and was left town.
Though not before I was able to join Mike Salvi, Jim Babb and Michael Badnarik on the 25th episode of Mike Salvi’s World the next night.
